Yes. Smartsheet’s Jira Connector is a paid premium add-on that syncs Jira issues with sheet rows, one- or two-way per field, for Jira Cloud, Server and Data Center. It doesn’t sync attachments, and a Jira system admin has to set it up.
Yes. Unito syncs Smartsheet with Jira Data Center or Jira Server as well as Jira Cloud, reaching a self-hosted instance over HTTPS via a firewall port, reverse proxy or on-premise agent. Self-hosted Jira is a premium integration on Enterprise plans; Basic and Pro customers contact Unito.
It’s true bidirectional sync. Jira summary, status, assignee and priority sync two-way with Smartsheet rows, as do primary, parent and custom columns. Flow direction and per-field direction are set separately, so even a one-way flow can update fields both ways.
Jira custom fields map to Smartsheet custom columns when they use a supported type: text, textarea, float, date, date time, select list, checkbox, radio button, URL or user picker. Each mapping can sync one-way or two-way.
Not by default. A Jira flow syncs one Jira project; syncing several Jira projects in one flow isn’t self-serve and needs Unito sales to enable it. Rules can still limit which work items sync by status, assignee or tag.
Connecting Jira takes admin permissions on the Jira account; after that, project-level admin rights are enough to build each flow. Setup in Unito is no-code and point-and-click, so you don’t need a developer.
Yes. Unito syncs attachments and dependencies between Jira work items and Smartsheet rows, so row dependencies carry across while your sheet keeps its portfolio-level view. For copied attachments, viewers don’t need a licence in both tools to open the synced file.
