Bidirectional. ClickUp task name, description, status and assignee sync two-way with Jira summary, issue status and assignee. Flow direction (which tool creates items) is set apart from per-field direction, so even a one-way flow can update fields both ways.
Yes, by type: ClickUp text, number, date and dropdown fields map to Jira text field, float, date picker and select list fields, and most types can fall back to text. Each mapping runs one-way or two-way on its own; some are forced one-way by tool limits.
Yes. Rules limit the sync to items matching specific tags, assignees or statuses, and every condition on a rule must be met. A Jira flow covers one project by default; syncing several Jira projects in one flow isn’t self-serve, so contact Unito sales to enable it.
No developer or code: setup is point-and-click, and Unito says a flow can be built in minutes. Connecting Jira needs administrator permissions on the Jira account; after that, project-level admin permissions are enough to build each flow.
Yes. Comments and attachments sync between linked ClickUp tasks and Jira work items. For most connectors, only new comments sync, not edits. Synced comments post under the flow builder’s account by default, with the original commenter’s name shown in the comment.
Yes. Unito connects ClickUp to Jira Server and Data Center, not just Jira Cloud. Your Jira instance needs to be reachable over HTTPS, through a firewall port, a reverse proxy or an on-premise agent. Self-hosted Jira is an Enterprise-plan integration; Basic and Pro customers contact Unito.
