Real-time data sync with full control, no coding required

Custom sync rules

Use intuitive rules (conditions or filters) to determine exactly what data to sync, such as Asana project, task status, custom field, Google Sheets tab, row range, and more.

Deep field configurability

Configure your data flow field by field. Map any native or custom fields — including Asana custom fields and Google Sheets columns — and define flow direction for each, with item matching to prevent duplicates.

Full relationship support

Sync hierarchies and lookup fields across tools, keeping Asana projects, tasks, and sub-tasks aligned with Google Sheets workbooks, tabs, and rows.

Historical data sync

Sync historical records from any point in time, across even the largest datasets. Unito is purpose-built for enterprise-scale alignment across all your tools.

Comment & attachment support

Sync comments and attachments across Asana and Google Sheets so program teams and external partners keep full context wherever they review or update the work.

Live data transformation

Transform data in real time with transformers to combine fields, convert HTML to text, extract values, or apply custom string logic through JSON settings.

Keep the exec rollup current without copy-paste

Wednesday afternoon a program manager pastes Asana exports into the shared Google Sheet. Columns shift, formulas break, the partner reading it gets stale numbers. Unito keeps Asana tasks tied to Sheet rows so the rollup updates itself.

Sync Asana tasks to Google Sheets rows both ways

Asana tasks land in the rows formulas already reference. Status, assignee, due date, and custom fields flow both ways, so a partner can update a row and Asana picks it up.

Land custom fields in the columns formulas expect

Each Asana custom field maps to a specific Google Sheets column. Columns stay where they are, formulas keep referencing the right cells, conditional formatting holds.

Filter what shows up in the partner-facing Sheet

Per-flow filters control which Asana tasks reach the Sheet. Internal-only fields and noisy comments stay in Asana; the Sheet shows the columns the partner or VP needs.

Frequently asked questions about Asana and Google Sheets

Does Asana have a native two-way Google Sheets sync?

Asana ships a CSV export and a one-way report-to-Sheets feature. Neither writes back to Asana. Two-way sync with column-level mapping requires a third-party tool.

Can one Google Sheets workbook hold rollups from multiple Asana projects?

Yes. Each flow connects one Asana project to one tab in a Google Sheets workbook. A workbook can hold multiple tabs, each linked to a different Asana project or filtered view.

Will adding columns to the Sheet break the sync?

Custom fields map to specific columns. Adding a column on the Sheet does not break the sync; only the mapped columns are read or written, so formulas around them stay safe.

Do I need workspace admin access to set up the sync?

No. Edit access on the workbook and member access on the Asana project are enough. Workspace admin and Google Workspace admin roles are not needed.
