That’s why we’re happy to announce that Unito is now System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 compliant.
Following an extensive audit by an independent third-party firm, SOC 2 Type 2 compliance signifies that Unito has designed and implemented the necessary policies and processes to securely manage data and protect the privacy of users.
What is SOC 2 compliance? Why is it important?
SOC 2 compliance is developed by the American Institute of CPAs with the intention to “evaluate how information technology controls over processes and people measure up to the AICPA’s trust principles of security, availability, processing, integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. (Source)
