Frequently asked questions about Notion
Unito syncs pages from Notion databases by linking individual properties — like text, dates, and select fields — to matching fields in your other tools. You choose which properties sync and in which direction with field-level mappings.
Unito syncs database pages — any page that lives in a Notion database. Plain tables need to be converted to databases first, which takes a click in Notion. Once connected, both new and existing database pages can sync.
Most Notion integrations push data one way through triggers or the API. Unito maintains a continuous two-way relationship: when a linked item changes in either tool, the other side updates automatically. It's fully no-code, so there's no API scripting involved.
You don't need to be a workspace admin, but the account you connect grants Unito access to specific pages or databases (and their children) during setup. Note that only one Notion user per workspace can connect Notion to Unito.
Yes. Unito can link database pages that existed before the integration was set up and keep them updated from then on. Notion doesn't offer webhooks, so Unito checks for changes roughly every five minutes.
